Life (Untitled)

I love life
And I don’t want to die.
I love this world
Not for the gloss and the sham
But for the good that’s here.
And there is so much
I don’t think you’ll condemn me for this love.
You made it.
Only fools say your world is bad.
Soon I may leave
Exchanging one jewel for another
I have no doubt about your promises
My Hope is absolutely firm
My resolution straight
Open the gate for me,
When it is right
I will not hesitate.
