When I was in trouble I called on Hope.
Why did I call on Hope?
Hope knows trouble pregnant and abandoned
She knows my distress
I said to her
Get me a Jew.
Jews know fear and persecution.
It was Sam who rescued me.
Sam knows my suffering.
Samuel said — I A Jew — will help you — Gentile
Enter the Kingdom of God!
